Abstract

This article examines the interrelationship between emotional intelligence, social adaptation, and marital satisfaction within the context of family psychology. Based on empirical findings, the study analyzes how emotional self-regulation, empathy, and interpersonal communication culture influence the stability and quality of marital relationships. The results indicate that individuals with higher levels of emotional intelligence and social adaptability are more capable of maintaining mutual understanding, empathy, and emotional balance in family life. Emotional intelligence and empathy function as core psychological mechanisms that enhance satisfaction with marriage.
