It scientifically analyzes the issues of developing students' skills in searching, sorting, analyzing and effective use of information in the educational process organized on the basis of digital technologies. The article substantiates the role of information and analytical competence in improving students' independent thinking, problem-solving skills and professional training in the modern education system.
